I was born and raised outside of Lloydminster, Sk. After high school I moved to Vancouver, BC to take a diploma of Makeup Artistry and Special Fx at John Casablancas Institute. After completing my program and working on indie films and commercials, I moved to Edmonton, AB to attend MacEwan University for Technical Theatre. From there I went on to get my BFA in Theatre Design at the University of Alberta .
During this time I have had the privilege to work on many stages, indie film sets, and music videos in Alberta, British Columbia, and Ontario. Through these experiences that I have noticed a need for a more eco-friendly theatre, as well as a need for more voices from different backgrounds in all aspects of production. I hope to continue to work with theatre and film companies that are working towards inclusivity and eco-conscious design.
I have been involved with makeup, set, lights, and costume designs for, Stratford Festival, Kompany Family theatre, the Citadel Theatre, L'uni Theatre, Keyano Theatre, St. Albert's Children Theatre (SACT), Walterdale Theatre, DNTTS (Sketch comedy), Get Off the Stage Productions, multiple Fringe shows and the University of Alberta's Bleviss Laboratory Theatre.
